2nd Workshop on the Radiological and Nuclear Training Framework in the European Union

Training and exercise activities are key moments in the capacity building process of operators in the field of radiological and nuclear (RN) emergencies. They are multidimensional activities, which encompass planning, organization, execution, evaluation and integration of innovative technologies. Building upon the success of the 1st edition held in ENEA Frascati (Italy) on 27 January 2020, INCLUDING project organizes the 2nd Workshop on the Radiological and Nuclear Training Framework in the European Union. The objective is to assess the mid-term impact of project activities in strengthening the cooperation among Member States by including innovation in RN training and exercise activities. The main topics of interest are:

  • Development of learning objectives in RN training activities
  • Evaluation methodology of training and exercise activities
  • Practical results from in field exercises
  • Integration of innovative technologies in RN exercises
  • Collaboration among EU research projects

The Workshop will be held in online modality and is open to practitioners, innovators, technology suppliers and researchers with an interest in the sector.

The program includes presentations by speakers from project partners and by external contributors.
