Training and exercise activities are key moments in the capacity building process of operators in the field of radiological and nuclear (RN) emergencies. They are multidimensional activities, which encompass planning, organization, execution, evaluation and integration of innovative technologies. Building upon the success of the 1st edition held in ENEA Frascati (Italy) on 27 January 2020, INCLUDING project organizes the 2nd Workshop on the Radiological and Nuclear Training Framework in the European Union. The objective is to assess the mid-term impact of project activities in strengthening the cooperation among Member States by including innovation in RN training and exercise activities.
INCLUDING Project organizes in CEA Saclay (France) from 20 to 22 October 2021 a multidisciplinary field exercise.
This exercise is organized by the CEA, Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives, located in the Essonne department, 20 kilometers from Paris. The exercise will be hosted at Area 500 of the CEA Research Centre in Saclay (Paris).
