INCLUDING aims at creating a long-lasting cluster of practitioners, decision and policymakers in the RN domain, interacting together and with technology suppliers and academia. The project steadily manages the link with other EU completed and ongoing projects, and with existing clusters to optimize the cross-fertilization with the exchange of expertise, knowledge and resources.

SAFE STADIUM

The project will result in preparing the integrated CBRN protection system for sport facilities in accordance to Good Practices to support the protection of public spaces. The project consortium comprises of several leading private and public expertise and new technology providers in relation to public protection and CBRN threats; law enforcement agencies; security agency; sport clubs and sport facility operators. The system will be freely available on the online platform and will cover:

  • needs analysis of sport facilities in the area of prevention, response and recovery form CBRN incident, based on desk research, good practices collection, surveys and study visit at sportstadiums.
  • comprehensive set of security procedures, recommendations for improvements in infrastructure and equipment; tools and templates for vulnerability and risk assessment or preparing security plans; optimal protocols for cooperation with public services; a comprehensive set of security procedures, recommendations for improvements in infrastructure and equipment; tools and templates for vulnerability and risk assessment or preparing security plans; optimal protocols for cooperation with public services;
  • the training materials in a form of modular training programme including eLearning with Virtual Reality tailored to the need of sport stadiums and its employees.

The project direct beneficiaries are security staff members (i.e., Safety and Security Manager), stewards, private and public security services and sport associations’ officials and trainers. The system will be implemented by a series of training (face-to-face and online) as well as a pilot of large-scale exercises at the sport facilities. Mainstreaming and EU-wide impact will be enhanced by dissemination activities including several events, seminars and meetings to inform decision makers and other relevant stakeholders.
