Activities in Including

Work Package 2 – The Federated Cluster: INESC TEC will actively contribute to the optimization of the resources sharing, namely in the inclusion of the virtual reality content into the architecture of the INCLUDING platform.
Work Package 3 – Training gaps analysis and scenarios development: INESC TEC is a leader of the Virtual Reality training and, taking advantage of the research team expertise, one will propose solutions to the gaps in training and certification using Virtual Reality technologies. More precisely, one will leverage the training and certification to a multisensory level where one will be able to train first responders and RN specialists in fully immersive environments that will promote a realistic training scenario and decision-making training. Trainer tools will be also addressed, where they will have full control of the training scenarios and their variables as well as they will be able to monitor the trainees’ performances.
Work Package 4 – A common learning framework for RN training: INESC TEC will contribute to the harmonization of RN education and training and to the training matrix concept by adding to the equation the specificities of Virtual Reality training technologies.
Work Package 5 – Joint Actions at the Facilities: INESC TEC will host the 2nd Annual Workshop as well as a Joint Action that will focus on Immersive Virtual Reality training program for first responders and RN specialists.
Work Package 7 – Dissemination and Exploitation: INESC TEC will be included as a new testbed to be included in the federated cluster having as focus the Immersive Virtual Reality training for first responders and RN specialists.
