INCLUDING

(Innovative Cluster for Radiological and Nuclear Emergencies)

Consortium

INCLUDING is a Cluster of RN practitioners, operators/managers of training facilities, demonstration sites, and testing workbenches and innovation developers (academia, research centres, industries, SMEs) structured in order to provide affordable RN resilience through advanced managing of training infrastructure and better integration of innovative solutions and methodologies in prevention and response systems for enhancing the safety of European citizens.

TEKEVER (TEK)

TEKEVER (TEK)

TEKEVER ASDS (Aerospace, Defense and Security) develops and delivers advanced technological solutions in the areas of communications, autonomous vehicles and space systems for the aeronautics, space, defense and security markets. TEKEVER ASDS was created in 2006 as a spin-off of the TEKEVER Group, and develops and incubates innovative technologies, maturing them enough to create new products or integrate them into existing product lines of the company. TEKEVER’s activity is product-driven and the company invests significantly in research done in close collaboration with our customers for the integration of innovative technologies in its product lines. Research fields cover the full technological stack exploited on robotics systems, autonomous vehicles, their software and systems infrastructure as well as operations.
Upholding this vision, TEKEVER delivers embedded systems, sensor networks, autonomous platforms for air, ground and water environments, and intelligent systems to clients in the aerospace, defense, security and civilian fields. TEKEVER ASDS is part of the TEKEVER Group, a Portuguese based technology driven group, with subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, the United States and Brazil.
TEKEVER has been involved in several research projects in the field of robotics and autonomous systems, with a strong focus on on-board intelligence, system perception and cognition and inter-system interactions.
Within the Group, TEK staff have also lead several European research projects and are currently involved in several study groups in the fields of aeronautics, communications, interoperability and standardization (e.g. EUROCAE WG-73 and WG-105, RTCA SC-228, IMG-S, ASD EqIMG, NATO NIAG, etc.).
The TEKEVER Group has 4 facilities in Portugal and counts with highly skilled and experienced in collaborative research staff, with strong backgrounds in autonomous systems, covering several key areas from mechanics to electronics, aerodynamics, aircraft design, communications and radios, control systems, artificial intelligence, operational analysis and optimization, system control, software development and validation, and system integration and testing.
TEKEVER has a clear focus on the market and its research strategy is committed to integrating R&D results in innovating products to create market advantages.

Activities in Including

TEK’s background is perfectly in line with the project’s objectives and goals. Being a SME and an industrial partner, TEK will take advantage of its expertise on unmanned platforms and previous experience on NRBQ agents’ detection, in order to carry out the activities that involve the identification and analysis of equipment and mainly technological gaps – strongly collaborating on Work Package 3 – Training gaps analysis and scenario development. This gaps review will also be the input for the consequent activities on RN training, learning framework and joint actions at facilities, where TEKEVER will have an important role with the operation of UAV platforms.
